Bryan Freeland

Freeland is a bricoleur and raconteur who has been working in the outdoor and experiential education worlds for two decades. His experiences have included processing taxes for low income families in Denver, CO; removing invasive species on a 7,000-acre cattle ranch for abandoned and abused children; building houses with Habitat for Humanity in the midwest; renovating buildings for the Boys & Girls Clubs of greater Detroit; restoring and rebuilding flooded Appalachian communities in Tennessee; working at a residential care facility for youth with genetic disorders, psychiatric diagnoses, and trauma histories; and creating leadership experiences for adolescents with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. For several years, Freeland taught college writing at American University, Framingham State University, and Providence College.

He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in outdoor/experiential education at the University of New Hampshire, and has an MFA in creative writing from American University. Freeland is Red Cross-certified in Safety, Mass Care, and Disaster Relief, and is also a certified personal life coach, a 200-level certified rugby coach, and has a chainsaw certification for the National Forest Service.

Amanda Amundson

Amanda has been studying and exploring human potential for most of her adult life. A natural-born seeker whose passion for health and wellness has enabled her to thrive in a successful career in medical research, Amanda holds Masters degrees in Nutrition and Public Health, is an RYT200-certified yoga teacher, a licensed nutritionist, a transcendental meditation practitioner, and has completed her education as a board certified Health Coach (NWBHC) through the Institute for Functional Medicine. Her articulate, warm and straight-from-the-heart approach has inspired countless people to reconnect with their inner healing potential through lifestyle change that honors both the individual and the collective whole.

Amanda will work closely with you as you make the needed changes in your lifestyle to restore your health. Food, exercise, sleep, stress reduction and other lifestyle adjustments are the medicine of the future -- and the future is now.
